How Reqursor keeps your stores separate
A plain overview for agencies: your agency has its own private space on the platform, and every store runs apart from every other.
Reqursor Platform hosts the stores of many agencies. What makes that safe is separation. It isn't a promise you have to trust: it is built into how every store is set up. Each store runs in its own separate environment, so one store's problem never affects another.
Two boundaries, not one
There are two separate walls, and both matter:
- Between agencies: your agency versus every other agency. Your agency has its own private space on the platform (technically called a tenant). Everything you create belongs to that space and is walled off from every other agency's.
- Between stores: each of your stores versus each other. Even within your own agency, your stores don't share an environment with each other. See One store's problem never affects another for how this layer works.
What the wall between agencies guarantees
| Guarantee | What it means |
|---|---|
| Privacy | You can't see another agency's stores, settings, passwords and access keys, or history, and no other agency can see yours. |
| No tampering | Nothing you do, and nothing another agency does, can reach across the wall to change something that isn't theirs. |
| Steady performance | A rush of visitors or a problem in another agency's store can't slow down your stores, and the reverse is also true. |
What you actually see
Sharing a platform with other agencies is invisible day to day:
- Your dashboard shows only your stores, your groups, your store health information, and your history.
- The chat AI works only within your agency: "update all my stores" means exactly your stores, never anyone else's.
- Updating many stores at once only ever affects your own store groups.
- Billing reflects only your own store count and usage.
You'd have no way of knowing other agencies use the same platform, other than the general fact that it's a shared service.
The six layers of store-level separation
Within your own portfolio, every store is kept apart from every other by six separate layers:
| Layer | What it means |
|---|---|
| Network | Each store has its own private network. There is no connection between stores. |
| Storage | Each store's files and database live in their own storage. Nothing is shared, and no store can change another's. |
| Process | Each store's parts run in their own separate space and never share one with another store. |
| Compute | Each store gets its own limits on processing power and memory, so one store's busy moment can't leave another short of resources. |
| Secrets | Passwords and access keys are tied to one store at a time. |
| Setup record | Each store's setup record (the written description of how it is configured) lives in its own place, never mixed with another's. |
Why this matters for your agency
- Competing agencies can share the same platform safely. You never have to trust another agency, only the separation that Reqursor Platform builds in.
- A problem stays exactly where it started. A rush of visitors, a wrong setting, or a break-in at one store can't reach another, whether it's yours or someone else's.
- None of this can be switched off, not even "just this once." It is built into how every store is set up. It isn't a setting someone could turn off by mistake.
