Licensing & billing

Plan, seats and projects, adding capacity, and managing payment.

Settings → License & billing is the one place for all of this.

What it shows

  • Your plan, seats used vs. included vs. extra, and when the license expires or renews.
  • Projects active vs. included vs. extra.
  • Once you've added enough extra seats or projects, an "upgrading is cheaper" hint appears: past a certain point, the tier above costs less than the same total on extras. See pricing for the numbers behind it.

Adding capacity

Add seat and Add project add one at a time, billed at that tier's price for your current billing interval (monthly or annual) and prorated immediately.

Removing an extra seat or project takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately: you keep what you've already paid for until then.

Managing payment

Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal through the license server, so your card details never touch Reqursor's own systems directly, for invoices, updating your payment method, or cancelling.

Moving to new hardware

Transfer license deactivates the license on this instance and lets you activate it on another one. Use this rather than trying to run two instances against the same license at once.

Offline activation

Enterprise plans can activate with a signed offline license file instead of an online key, for environments that can't call out to the internet at all. See What the license heartbeat sends for why a normal install needs daily internet access, and what the offline alternative covers instead.

Enterprise

Enterprise shows Contact sales instead of a price anywhere in the dashboard. Every deal is quoted individually.
