Writing Tickets
Importing tickets
Bring work in from GitHub, GitLab, Jira or Linear instead of writing every ticket by hand.
You don't have to write every ticket in the dashboard. Connect a tracker and Import on the Queue page pulls its issues in as tickets, so the built-in queue stays the one place the agent takes work from.
What's available on your plan
- Starter and up: the built-in queue, plus GitHub and GitLab importers.
- Team and up: also Jira and Linear importers, and Slack/webhook notifications.
Set this up from Settings → Integrations.
How it behaves
- Re-importing is idempotent. Running it again doesn't create duplicates. It matches existing tickets by their external reference and updates them.
- A changed source ticket updates a Draft or Ready ticket here, so your queue stays in sync with the tracker. It never touches a ticket that's currently Running: a run always finishes against the version it started with.
- Write-back on ship. When a ticket that came from GitHub or GitLab ships, the result is reported back to the original issue (if write-back is turned on for that connection).
- Imported ticket bodies go through the same handling as ones you write by hand: treated as data, not instructions, before the agent sees them.
