Models and routing
Let automatic routing choose the model for each stage, or fix one model yourself.
Every stage of a run (implement, review, verify, security) is a call to a model. On Reqursor Credits, you choose how each stage gets its model in Settings → Claude & models, under Model strategy.
Automatic routing
Automatic is the recommended choice. Reqursor Development picks the model for each stage from your license's routing policy, aiming for the most cost-efficient model that fits the stage, and escalates to a stronger model when a stage needs more. You do not choose anything per stage.
Reqursor maintains the routing policy and can improve it over time, so the model a stage uses can change.
Fixed model
A fixed model is one model for every stage. Pick it from the list under Fixed model. Each model
shows a cost mark, $, $$ or $$$, that compares it with the other models. The mark is not a
price and not a count of credits. A model in beta carries a Beta badge.
A fixed model can use more credits
A fixed premium model may use substantially more credits than Automatic for simple work. Lower-cost models usually use fewer credits, but they may succeed differently.
Which models you see
The list depends on what is enabled for your license. A model that is switched off, or that your license does not include, shows as Not available. A strategy your license does not include is disabled, with a short reason.
Where it is enabled for your license, Kimi K3 is an available model option.
Where to choose
- For the whole install: Settings → Claude & models, then Save strategy under Model strategy. A preview below the strategy cards shows which model each stage would use for a simple, a typical and a complex ticket, and why.
- For a project: a project can keep its own strategy. The Model strategy card lists the projects that do.
- For one ticket: when your install allows it, a ticket has its own Model strategy field, with the project default listed first.
The usage history on license.reqursor.com shows Automatic routing or Fixed model for each run.
